Abstract. In an observable future China’s economy’s dependence on imported energy will greatly expand. Under such circumstances the choice of politically, economically and financially reliable energy sources is especially significant. Official Beijing considers the achievement of energy security as the prime goal for the country’s energy and foreign strategy of today.
