Abstract. A high demand of the Polish labor market for foreign labor is satisfied mainly by Ukrainian labor migration. This migration is basically circular and short-term in nature. Despite a high quality of the migration flow from Ukraine, three quarters of which consists of people having higher, secondary or special education, the majority of Ukrainians are engaged in physical labor and simple jobs that do not require any qualification. The intensification of international competition for labor poses a challenge for Poland to make its labor market more attractive to Ukrainians.
