Abstract. The integration vector of the country’s development depends on the results of the parliamentary elections in Moldova. The head of the Moldovan state I. Dodon supports balanced relations between East and West. The entire period after the February 2019 elections was characterized by a protracted internal political crisis. From February to June negotiations between the leading political forces on the creation of a parliamentary coalition and the formation of the government continued. On 8 June 2019, Party of Socialists and pro-EU bloc ACUM created the majority coalition and the coalition government. Co-chairwoman of ACUM Maia Sandu was elected Prime Minister of Moldova. Democratic Party and the Constitutional Court of Moldova initially declared the new government illegal, but later, under pressure from main foreign partners of Moldova, they were forced to recognize it as legitimate.
