Banks with Foreign Capital Participation in the Ukrainian Economy

Abstract. The article describes the role of banks with foreign capital participation in the Ukraine economy during the period of economic crisis and political changes in 2014-2016. The authors come to the conclusion that the crisis caused considerable changes in the structure of the Ukraine banking system. The article examines the fate of Russian state bank branches put under sanctions and recommends to  change their business model in order to retain their presence in the country.
