Rubric:

Abstract. Due to objective reasons Armenia pursues a multi-vector foreign policy. For a number of years Yerevan while being Russia’s strategic ally has succeeded to develop friendly relations not only with Russia but also with the West. However
since 2012 Armenia faces a difficult dilemma. While unable to give up security guarantees provided by Russia, it has taken a growing interest in political and economic cooperation with the EU. As a result Armenia has found itself in the
focus of mutually exclusive interests of Moscow and Brussels.
