Internal Political Problems of Kazakhstan

Abstract

The year of 2016 in Kazakhstan is characterized by political instability reflected in land riots and terrorist acts. Among factors contributing to further destabilization of situation in the country the author names sharpening of struggle between politi-cal clans, deterioration in the state of economy, spreading of radical Islamism, external intervention aimed at provoking “colored revolution”.
