Thе monograph is devoted to the analysis of modern innovation policy with the focus on such sectoral challenges as competitiveness and the challenge of reindustrialization in the developed countries (the cases of the USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, and Japan) and catch-up modernization of the developing countries (the case of China). Innovation policy here is considered to be strongly connected with the Industrial and Scienсe policies, being a system of measures of three. Some common and unique features of the methods in use and state regulation instruments for each country are specified, as well as the outcomes of the Innovation policy.
The publication is addressed to the experts studying the modern problems of national innovation systems, as well as to the government officials whose agenda includes the regulation of the Russian innovation activity.
