International conference USA-Russia-China: strategic triangle and its impact jn international order


On the 23-24th of January the Institute will hold the international conference «USA-RUSSIA-CHINA: STRATEGIC TRIANGLE AND ITS IMPACT ON INTERNATIONAL ORDER». The conference is a part of the joint scientific project of the IMEMO and Harriman Institute (Colombia University, USA). On the first day of the conference the Phd students of both institutes will present their research papers. On the second day the leading experts of IMEMO, Harriman Institute, Institute for USA and Canadian Studies and the Higher Scholl of Economics will share their ideas on the current and near future relations between three major powers.

The meeting of the Scientific Council was held in the Big Conference-Hall of the IMEMO (3rd floor). The report “The political economy of trade conflicts: from anti-dumping measures to sanctions” by Dr. Sergey Afontsev was on the agenda.



Elena Tseldina gave the interview on the material “The fifth anniversary of the war in the Donbass: the prospects for the peaceful settlement” to the RIAC website.
