Armenia: First Results of the Economic Policy of Pashinyan’s Administration

Abstract. The economy of Armenia demonstrated high growth rates in 2019, surpassingall other EEU and CIS countries in this respect. The reasons of such growth were both of external and internal nature. Mining and service industry became the drivers of the economy. The government undertook successful measures against corruption. But many problems of Armenia are not solved yet. In 2020 the government will face a number of serious risks that will make it difficultto achieve similar growth rates.
