Abstract. The author of the article argues that the Moscow led Eurasian integration is the main pillar of the modern grand strategy of the Russian Federation that may shift the balance of power at the  international level. Eurasian organization, namely the prospective EAU (EAEU plus CSTO), also meets interests of China in the frame-work of the SCO and the OBOR thus foreshadowing a multifarious Russo-Chinese strategic alignment. Russia in this alignment seeks political preponderance in Eurasia and also the status of a transcontinental power thus paving the way for the status of a global superpower; China aims, not contradictory to Russia, to be a predominant economic power in the world. The nature of this alignment profoundly fosters the ground for a deep change in international politics. Corresponding arguments regarding the contemporary Russo-Chinese strategic partnership and its dynamic perspectives are presented in the article by analyzing the EAU strategic aims and by taking into consideration the EAU interaction with the SCO.
