EDITORIAL POLICY

The Journal is the main periodical of IMEMO – the leading research institution in the Russian Academy of Sciences (before 1991 – the USSR Academy of Sciences) in the field of international affairs. The Institute employs authoritative experts on practically all aspects of world politics and economics. In recent years the Institute has been actively promoting the journal in the international academic community and transforming it into a platform for discussion and scientific communication of experts and analysts from different regions of Russia and the world. In particular, the editorial board has undergone significant changes: it includes and cooperates with recognized foreign experts in international socio-economic and political issues, as well as experts from a number of domestic research organizations. The geographical and institutional composition of the journal's contributors continues to expand significantly, while maintaining the same high requirements for the quality of the scientific materials published.
