On December 14, 2022 a Russian-South Korean Bilateral Roundtable "Prospects for Cooperation in Northeast Asia" was held at IMEMO. The participants discussed issues related to security on the Korean Peninsula, Russia-China relations, as well as the prospects for cooperation between Russia and South Korea in the new conditions.

The socioeconomic, political and technological changes taking place in the vast Indo-Pacific Region have a serious impact on the system of international relations in the IPR. This makes it necessary for Russian foreign policy to take these changes into account and adapt to them in a timely manner. The Russian Armed Forces' special military operation in Ukraine has become a new factor influencing Russia's positioning in the IPR and its relations with the countries of the region. The noted changes pose many questions for analysts, both of an applied and fundamental-academic nature. Analysis of long-term and short-term trends in the development of international relations in the region is also required.

On September 30, 2022 the Group on South Asia and Indian Ocean of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies of IMEMO held a Roundtable "The ESG Agenda in India and Russia: the Unrealized Potential for Cooperation".

The roundtable conference on the topic “The new quantum race. The state policy and the corporate efforts. The global experience” was held online. Natalia Ivanova wasl moderate the event.

Alexey Krivopalov made a plenary report “The operational and strategic analysis of the Second Karabakh War” on the international roundtable conference dedicated to the analysis of the Second Karabakh War.
