The scientists of the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences headed by Director of the IES CASS visited the IMEMO. Deputy Director of the IMEMO Corresponding Member of RAS Irina Semenenko and Chief Researcher for the Center for Asia Pacific Studies Prof. Alexander Lomanov had a meeting with the delegation.

The international conference “The post-Soviet Space – the vectors of changes” was held in the framework of the Primakov Readings at the IMEMO. 40 experts from Russia and the countries of Eurasia took part in the meeting. Director of the IMEMO Corresponding Member of RAS Dr. Feodor Voitolovsky addressed to the audience with the welcoming remarks.

There was held the meeting of the staff-members of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies of the IMEMO with the delegation of the Diplomatic Academy of the Republic of Korea. The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of the Korean settlement and the status of the Russia-Korea relations.

The delegation of the Institute of World Economy and Politics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences visited the IMEMO. Director of the IMEMO Corresponding Member of the RAS Feodor Voitolovsky and Chief Researcher for the Center for Asia Pacific Studies Prof. Alexander Lomanov had a meeting with the delegation.

There was held the meeting between Director of the IMEMO Corresponding Member of RAS Feodor Voitolovsky and Deputy Director of the Institute of World Economy and Politics of the Chinese Academy of Social Science Tszou Chibo.

The third youth roundtable session “The crises and the conflicts of the future” was held by the Center for Foreign Policy Cooperation n.a. Y.M. Primakov under the aegis of the International Forum “Primakov Readings”.

The Consultations with the Secretary General of the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs Paolo Cotta-Ramusino was held in The IMEMO. Chairman of the Russian Pugwash Committee for the Presidium of RAS President of the Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and Relations Academician Alexander Dynkin led the event.
