Member of Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Dynkin – Director of Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO), Prof. Feodor Voitolovsky – Deputy Director (IMEMO), Dr. Ivan Danilin – Head of section of Innovative policy (IMEMO) took part in key session 'FROM THE KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY TO THE KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY'.

First Deputy Director of Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relaions (IMEMO) Academician Natalya Ivanova and Corresponding Member of RAS Gennady Chufrin met the delegation of President’s of Kazakhstan library headed by Deputy Director, Head of analytical sector of the library Timur Shaimargenov. 

July 16 2015 IMEMO scientists met with Thomas Graham, the well-known American political scientist and expert on Russia, senior director of the consulting firm Kissinger Associates, Yale University professor. 

Yury Kvashnin, head of sector for European Union studies at IMEMO participated in the round table ‘Referendum in Greece. What's next?’which was organized by the press center of MIA ‘Russia today’. 

Director of the IMEMO A.A. Dynkin, Member of the Academy of Sciences, attended a meeting at the Presidential Council on Science and Education on the theme ‘New challenges and priorities for science and technology in the Russian Federation’.  

IMEMO held a meeting of the Interdepartmental working group (IWG) ‘Scientific support of the efficient use of natural resources (oil and gas)’ of the Presidential Council on Science and Education under the leadership of acad. A.A. Dynkin. 

Head of the sector of social and economic problems at the Center for Development and Modernization A.A. Rogozhin, PhD (Economics), took part in a round table at the Institute for Far Eastern Studies of RAS.  

Ivan V. Danilin, Head of Section for Innovation Policy (IMEMO), took part in Foresight Fleet event of Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) among 700 leading Russian experts.

On May 6, 2015 scholars from IMEMO Center for Asia-Pacific Studies Vitaly Shvydko and Kristina Voda conferred with the delegation of Japan-based research association “21st Century Forum”.

A.N. Fedorovsy, Dr. (Economics) and S.A. Lukonin, Ph.D., took part in a working lunch with John Tefft, the US Ambassador to Russia. 

IMEMO held a round table "The role and importance of the Kurdish factor in regional geopolitics". 

The 2nd joint seminar on security issues in the Asia-Pacific was held in Tokyo by Japan Institute of International Affairs.

Roundtable on "Global Test Time: New Challenges" was organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies in the format of an online conference.
