Professor A. Fedorovskiy, Head of IMEMO Pacific Studies Section met with delegation of Diplomatic Academy of the Republic of Korea, and with delegation of Korea Institute of Defense Analysis (Seoul).

Professor A. Fedorovskiy, Head of IMEMO Pacific Studies Section met with delegation of United States House of Representatives headed by Dana Rohrabacher, member of Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Roundtable discussion “Smart power and Transpacific security and cooperation” was held in IMEMO on January 20, 2014. To hold the discussion the staff members of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies were joined by Feodor Voitolovsky, Head of the U.S. Studies Section, and Andrey Ryabov, Editor-In-Chief of the Me-I-MO journal.

Memorial meeting was held at IMEMO on January 15, 2014 to commemorate the centenary of birth of Prof. Yakov Pevzner, an eminent Russian orientalist and economy scholar.

A group of experts from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam visited IMEMO.
