    Field of Research

    The section conducts research on the following topics:

    • study of the key factors and trends of political change, shifts in mass consciousness and dynamics of political, civic (state-civic) and national identities in the EU, in the USA and in Russia;
    • theory and methodology of identity research and its application in political analysis;
    • transformations of political institutions (political parties, political participation and mass politics) and dynamics of identity;
    • the role of the individual in modern politics.
