Since 2014, Center for European Studies have held three annual conferences with various issues of an individual European country as a subject. Our conferences provide a strong platform to the leading Russian academicians as well as other professionals in order to discuss current challenges of the selected country, it's interaction in different spheres with other actors, it's development prospects, etc. The Center is striving to intensify the international format of the conferences: we were pleased to welcome consular officers of the highest rank to make the opening speech, we invited presenters from other countries in 2015 and 2016. The recent Conference “The limits of German leadership in Europe” was organized with the financial support of the FASO.
