Areas of Expertise:
Labour economics, economics of transition, institutional economics, corporate governance, history of economic thought. Current research interests include evolution of the Russian labour market, impact of employment protection legislation and its enforcement on the labour market outcomes, wage-setting in Russia, human capital accumulation under transition, evolution of ownership structures and patterns of control in the Russian economy, corporate governance under transition.
Author of nearly 180 publications (including 5 individual monographs).
A member of the Scientific Council at IMEMO RAN; a member of the Dissertation Council at IMEMO RAN; a member of the Dissertation National Research University "Higher School of Economics"; a member of the Academic Committee on the National Prize in Applied Economics Numerous publications in leading national and international academic journals including "Journal of Comparative Economics", "Comparative Economic Studies", "European Journal of Financial Economics", "LABOUR", "Managerial and Decision Economics" etc.
Laureate of the National Prize in Applied Economics (2012); the medal of the Association of the Independent Centers for Economic Analysis (2012); Laureate of the Prize in the memory of Egor Gaidar in economics (2012).
