In 2021 defended his PhD thesis at ISKRAN on «Cuba and the states of the Bolivarian Alliance (ALBA): bilateral relations and integration processes».
Field of scholarly endeavor: state planning in the field of foreign policy and foreign economic activity, alternative integration, socially oriented regimes in Latin Caribbean America.
