  • Graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR, School of International Economic Relations (1977)
  • Cand. of Science (Economics), the thesis theme: “Western Europe and developing African countries: the evolution of economic relations” (1989)

Field of research: International economic relations of EU countries with Arab and African countries, Euromed Policy, Neighborhood Policy, Union for the Mediterranean; Problems of migration in EU countries; Foreign economic relations of France; Economy of Switzerland.

Author of more than 70 publications, including 2 monographs.
