BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Leili Rustamova is a researcher at Peace and Conflict Studies Unit, National Research Institute of the World Economy & International Relations (IMEMO), Moscow; candidate of political sciences. She is also a member of editorial team of the IMEMO journal on peace and conflict studies “Pathways to Peace and Security”.
She is the author of research publications in Russian and English, member of research groups and the head of research projects commissioned by MGIMO-University and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. She is also a senior assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Management and Politics of MGIMO-University.
In 2013 – graduated with honors the from Faculty of International Relations of Nizhny Novgorod State University, M.A. in World Politics and International Law.
In 2013–2016 she studied at MGIMO-University Graduate School.
In 2017, she defended her PhD equivalent – Candidate of Sciences in Politics
(Dissertation on “Soft Power policy of Modern Germany”), RUDN University, Moscow.
